From the Cha Cha, Waltz to even the Rumba, viewers have already seen it all in the 2024 season of Dancing With The Stars Australia, but the competition is far from over.
Twelve celebrity contestants donned their best favourite dancing shoes and sparkly outfits all in the hopes of winning the contest. But despite their best efforts, only one contestant can win DWTS 2024.
Already viewers have taken to the popular betting website, Sportsbet to gain some insight on who could be crowned winner. While it might sound unconventional, Sportsbet has been proved correct in the past for countless reality television programs.
For 2024, Lisa McCune has been titled this year’s frontrunner with odds of 2.25. Lisa was a fan-favourite from the moment she was announced as a contestant, given her legacy in Australian TV as Maggie in Blue Heelers.
Ranking in second place on Sportsbet with odds of 2.62 is Samantha Jade who is no newbie to a reality tv competition after rising to fame following her The X Factor Australia win. Given her singing and acting background, it comes as no surprise Jade’s made quite the impression on the judges.
Following closely behind is Nikki Osborne whose odds currently sit out 3.00. The comedian and actress narrowly beat elimination early in the competition against Hayden Quinn, who was sent home.
In middle field of the DWTS race is SAS Australia chief officer Ant Middleton with odds of 5.00, Home and Away actor James Stewart in next with odds of 7.50, and AFL legend Shane Crawford with odds of 15.00.
Further down the Sportsbet ladder is Better Homes and Garden’s Adam Dovile at 17.00, Julie Goodwin and Nova Peris tie at 21.00 and finally is Ben Cousins with odds of 26.00.
The DWTS competition is far from over, and given the unpredictable nature of reality television, these odds could change at any time.
