The time has finally come, the cast of Friends have reunited (well, five out of six ain’t bad) and there were some very interesting revelations.

At the beginning of the telecast Matthew Perry aka Chandler binged his way into the halls by introducing the cast. Living up to their on-screen personas, the old gang all held hands as they walked up to the stage.

While the night was a celebration of veteran director, Jimmy Burrows, it was what was uncovered about our fave friends that had the audience in a frenzy.

After all this time, the cast are still as close as ever.

Host Andy Cohen questioned the existence of a rumoured “no sex” clause in their contract which meant they weren’t allowed to sleep with each other.

While Lisa Kudrow denied it existed, it was David Schwimmer’s comments, “Well, that was broken,” that got us excited.

Hmm, we wonder who it could be? Last year, two separate reported Friends hook-ups made headlines around the world.

In July, Jen denied claims she had a liaison with her co-star Matt LeBlac back in 2004.

Just a few months later in December, the rumour-mill went into overdrive about Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry potentially dating.

Fans were thrilled to see how emotional Jennifer Aniston became as she reflected on her days as Rachel Green. The 47-year-old gushed over her former director admitting they owed their success to him because he taught them “everything we know” about comedy.

“We would do anything for Jim Burrows because he really gave us the opportunity of a lifetime,” she quipped.

“We experienced friendship, family, heartbreak, babies, everything, together. And we also had a wonderful experience with the world loving us as well.”

Getting emotional, the cast became lifelong friends to the actress.

Jen, who originally auditioned to play Monica, explained how she fell in love with the cast as the world fell in love with the show.

“In the beginning it was not a hard thing,” she noted. “We just wanted to hang out with each other… We really just fell in love and adored each other instantly and would hang out at each other’s houses and watch the show together.”

Jen adored filming the flashback scenes.

Here are our top three highlights from the two-hour special:

  1. The One Where They Ate The Jennifer Salad:

Lisa, Jennifer, and Courteney had lunch together every single day for ten years, and ate the same food everyday. Courteney called it a “Jennifer salad.” And Jen’s secret technique, “I tossed it,” she laughed. “She has a way with it,” Courteney added. Fingers crossed Justin Theroux shares the recipe on Instagram.

  1. The One Where Jennifer Revealed She Loved A Flashback:

The 47-year-old revealed that her favourite thing to film were the flashback episodes, like The One with the Prom Video, in which Monica was fat, Rachel hadn’t yet gotten her nose done, and Ross had a lovely afro.

  1. The One Where They Had Rent Control:

Ever wondered how Monica and Rachel could afford that sweet New York apartment? According to the cast it’s all down to rent control.
