It’s been confirmed that two Fifty Shades sequels are officially in the works. Fans of the erotic trilogy will be delighted that their Valentine’s Day plans for 2017 and 2018 are covered, with both films coming out on those dates respectively.
Despite there being no director, Universal have decided to tantalise us with a 30-second clip. It looks like the new film is living up to its name and about to get a whole lot darker.
The delectable clip entices with Mr Grey, played by Jamie Dornan, suiting up in a formal tux. Jamie seriously smoulders as he then proceeds to put on a black facemask.
“Are you ready for something darker?” reads text that flashes across the screen.
The only thing missing from the trailer was Dakota Johnson’s character Anastasia Steele.

Universal Pictures chairman Donna Langley described the sequel as “more of a thriller.”
Fifty Shades Darker will be written by E.L. James’ husband Niall Leonard, while the first film’s director, Sam Taylor-Johnson, won’t not be returning to direct the sequel.
