The electrician and school teacher were overwhelmed by the good news after a nail-biting auction.

They revealed that they suffered heartbreak after a miscarriage, but it seems the duo have finally found happiness.

Brother-sister team Luke and Ebony from Perth, who were eliminated early on in the Triple Threat series this year, came in second place after a scarily slow start to their auction.

However, it was a life changing night for all the couples who each took home an impressive amount of money with the show giving away over 2.5 million to the five teams of contestants.

First place: Dean and Shay Paine

Reserve: $1, 645, 000

Sold for: $2.3 million

Profit: $655,000 plus an extra $100,000 for winning and a car. They also picked up an extra $10,000 in a prior challenge.

Reserve: $1.56 million

Profit: $640, 000

Third place: Kingi and Caro

Profit: $405, 000

Kingi and Caro walked away with a profit of $405,000.

Fourth place: Whitney and Andrew

Fifth place: Suzi and Vonnie

Whitney and Andrew, who have since revealed they’ve broken up, came in fourth place.

Suzi and Vonnie landed in fifth place.
