From shooting hoops to shooting for the stars, Reece Balen and Tino Mukundwa, both 21, joined team Kylie after an amazing blind audition.

Reece & Tino performed No Diggity by Blackstreet.

Solo artist Brittanie Shipway turned Kylie’s chair during her blind audition. The 20-year-old from NSW performed the Les Miserables classic, On My Own.

Powerhouse vocalist Candice Skjonnemand, 27, wowed the judges with her rendition of the Adele hit Turning Tables. The Gold Coast mother-of-two also joined team Kylie.

Performing the song he sung to his wife on their wedding day, 56-year-old Harry Healy moved the judges with his heartfelt perfomance of Romeo and Juliet by the Dire Straits. The rocker from Melbourne who has been working professionally as a singer and guitarist for nearly 30 years, joined team Joel. “That was one of the best auditions I’ve seen,” Joel said.

Jhoanna Aguila blew the judges away with her interpretation of You’ve Got The Love by Florence and the Machine. “I love it,” Kylie was heard saying during the 24-year-olds performance. In the end, the aspiring musician chose international superstar and producer Will.i.am to be her mentor.

Accomplished percussionist Johnny Rollins also joined team Kylie after a great performance of Labrinth hit, Beneath Your Beautiful. The 29-year-old, whose role models include, John Legend, Lenny Kravitz and Ben Harper, was a definate crowd pleaser. “It’s amazing. It’s getting better and better,” Kylie said of her team.

Surfer boy turned jazz-singer Scott Glezinnis, impressed the coaches with his blind audition performance of Nature Boy by Kurt Elling. The 22-year-old from Newcastle who has been involved in theatre and singing from a young age, decided to join team Ricky despite Joel also turning his chair.
