But that’s exactly what the cheeky host has promised to do!
Karl is a proud Queenslander and is so confident his team will win the State of Origin he, that if they don’t he will bare all and streak down one of Sydney’s busiest street.
To solidify his certainty, Karl made the promise to The Daily Telegraph’s Sydney Confidential column.
The Today show host spoke about this bet on the breakfast program this morning, saying: “The Blues, well they won’t win, at least I hope they don’t.”
“If they do [win], I will streak down Pitt St,” the star promised.
This admission was met with some discontent from Karl’s co-hosts Lisa Wilkinson and Sylvia Jefferies who seemed less than impressed by the idea of her colleague running around naked.
The 40-year-old dad of three later said: “The problem with modern society is there isn’t more nuding up.” For obvious reasons our office, which is just around the corner from Pitt St, will be rooting for the Blues this year.
