Cuddling up to her five-year-old son Elijah, Alex can’t conceal her happiness as she introduces him to the public for the first time.
For the past five weeks, fans of The Bachelor have watched on as Alex confided in Richie about being a single mum.
And in a Bachie exclusive, Woman’s Day was lucky enough to be invited to Alex’s hometown of Melbourne to meet the bubbly little boy who stole her heart in real life.

“Being away from Elijah was probably the most difficult thing I have ever done,” reveals Alex, who decided early on that even if she made it to the end of the competition, Elijah would not appear on the popular reality TV show, and she says she only lets him watch parts of it.
