She might have found love with Sasha Mielczarek, but Sam’s recent comments about the infamous “international model” David has left him reeling.
The 26-year-old admitted that David was “EXACTLY how he was portrayed” on the show during a News.com.au Q&A.
“I have to ask, what was Model David like in the house? Was he always as “interesting” as he was portrayed to be on the show? PS – loved how you put him in his place!”
Sam responded to the fan directly, saying: “He was EXACTLY how he was portrayed, interpret that as you will. And PS thanks for the support of old mate fire guts.”
Lashing out, the 31-year-old reality star shared a screenshot from the Q&A session.
Alongside the screenshot he said, “I actually don’t care; but it’s pretty sad … We spoke for a total of 10 minutes, and she knows me? What about that donation to your charity I made at the initial meeting? Not shown.”
“You’re being a bully Sam, and you represent @beyondblueofficial @fro01 screenshot is from is from news.com.au questions #oldmatefireguts ???”
A BeyondBlue spokeswoman has clarified with Sydney Confidential and explained Sam isn’t technically a brand ambassador.
“While Sam certainly is a friend of the organisation who offers her support via social media, she is not an official ambassador,” the charity, which helps sufferers of depression and anxiety, explained.
Chatting to the Daily Mail, David claimed the producers of the show had trained Sam well and explained what he meant by his “generous donation”.
“I had given her a generous donation to the charity she supported during the show, BeyondBlue, when I first arrived at the house. And it was never mentioned on the show.”
While David failed to mention the donation in question, Pedestrian TV has since uncovered that it was the hat featured in the second episode, prior to his elimination.
Quick to defend David’s honour was fellow Bachie villain, Emily Simms.
“A lot of people on reality shows who are portrayed as horrible, are the complete opposite… And a lot of people who are portrayed as being as sweet as pie, are the complete opposite,” she commented onto David’s post.
“Anyone that actually believes everything they see on a reality show as being real, lives in la la land. Let them keep living there David,” she added.
Sam is yet to comment on David’s accusations.
