Last night, Georgia was in pun heaven when she went on her first single date with 35-year-old Lee.

Miss Love had the former title holder of Victoria’s Hottest Tradie swooning when she whisked him away to a private beach.

“I thought I’d give him a taste of what I loved growing up,” she explained. “I loved going out on camps and orienteering.”

And Lee soon discovered that the X was marked on Georgia’s heart, with the pretty brunette sealing their date with a kiss… and a rose.

The former news anchor had a soarin’ time planned for her group date, revealing to the lads that she used to be a trapeze instructor.

Taking them all the way to the sky, Matty J proved to be the day’s golden boy.

Despite Georgia being thoroughly impressed with his ability to point his toes, she did admit, “I definitely didn’t notice Matty at the first cocktail party!”

But he was safe. Sadly, the same could not be said for Jay and Aaron, with both men being sent home.

We caught up with the handsome chaps, to chat about their time in the house. Read on for their chats below!

Jay is still looking for love.

How did you feel when your name wasn’t called out?

It was not a shock, it was expected.

We noticed you didn’t get a great deal of air-time, how did that make you feel?

I know! It was a little disappointing. Obviously they can only show a small amount, but we had a great connection. When I first met Georgia I was definitely wowed by her. The more I learned about, I was really impressed but ultimately there was no real chemistry or that spark.

You step into this once of a lifetime experience – but in reality you do lose control over it. At the end of they’re telling a love story and I didn’t fall into it.

We didn’t get to see it, but do you want to tell us more about your connection with Georgia?

She’s such a gorgeous girl, she’s very well spoken and self-assured. She just radiates and she has a lot of the qualities that I’m looking for in a girl. Chatting to her I can see that she’s witty, kind, sincere but that didn’t translate into love.

I guess I’m an old school romantic looking for that spark! And we didn’t have it… Maybe it could be different in the outside world but we’ll never know.

According to Jay, the spark between Georgia and Courtney is undeniable.

Both boys think Lee is a front-runner.

There’s so many alpha males in the house, did you feel pressure to perform?

Not at all! It seriously feels like you’re on year 11/12 school camp and they’ve confiscated your phones! You’re there to have fun. You want to find love but you get hang out with a bunch of great guys.

Is the rivalry between Sam and Rhys real?

My genuine observation, there was nothing serious brewing. Just your normal “guy” banter. If anything, we got along so well that there wasn’t enough drama from most of us! [Laughs]

Any fights that you think will erupt?

There are some big personalities but nothing obvious stands out. No ego clashes.

Do you wish you did things differently or have any regrets?

One regret – hair and make-up! I did not like wearing make-up and I did not like how they did my hair. [Laughs].

Why did you decide to go on the show?

I hadn’t really watched much of the show beforehand but I like to live by this quote ‘life is short and you really should grab opportunities when they present themselves and have fun.’

Stand out memories?

I think the whole thing. I remember pinching myself thinking, ‘What? I’m on the Bachelorette! What? How did this happened!’

Who was your best mate in the house and have you kept in touch with anyone?

I really got along and still chat to a few of the guys – Matty J, Cam and especially Lee! We met during the auditions for the show.

Who do you think will win?

It would be between Lee, Courtney or Matty J. They’re three absolute legends, and they all had such intense sparks with her

Have you found love since leaving?

I’m originally from South Australia and I’ve just moved to Sydney. So I’m just focused on work. But I’m definitely at the age and stage of my life where I’m very open to love. But I don’t believe that you go looking for it, love should present itself to you! There goes the hopeless romantic in me, haha.

Were you upset to leave?

I wasn’t really surprised. I did suspected it was coming. Especially since I didn’t really feel the same sort of connection the way the other boys were. I would have loved to stay longer but it was my time to go!

We all noticed that you got along with all the boys especially Rhys- did you feel as though you were just a bunch of lads back at school?

Definitely! That was the best part. It was like a frat house, without the initiations and kegs of beers! It was all good fun and a really hit it off with Rhys.

There’s so much testosterone in the house, did you feel pressure to perform?

It was pretty much all fun. There was no cattiness or bitchiness. We were all aware of each other and the boys didn’t want to step on each other’s toes. Definitely while I was in the house, everyone seemed like pals! Maybe that will change?

Is the rivalry between Sam and Rhys real?

I wasn’t aware of it – because most of Sam’s views happened in his one-on-one interviews. He never shared his dislike with us. Rhys wasn’t aware of it!

Do you wish you did things differently or have any regrets?

No regrets! I was myself and had a good time.

What were your thoughts on Georgia?

She seems like a nice girl. Not my type. I’d prefer someone with a different sense of humour and more easy going.

Stand out memories?

I loved the trapeze! It was so much fun. Georgia was really impressed because we all got one shot at it.

Why did you decide to go on the show?

For the experience. My mum told me to give it a crack.

Who was your best mate in the house and have you kept in touch with anyone?

Rhys was my bestie and we’re still in contact. I’ll also really get along and still chat to some of the other boys like Clancy and Courtney.

I’d put money on Lee!
