Meet super spunky George Mason. The handsome Kiwi actor is the latest hottie to join the cast of Home and Away, and we’re so glad he did!
Having appeared on a number of New Zealand soapies including the comedy-drama Go Girls and Shortland Street, George made his way Down Under earlier this year to star on the popular Aussie drama.
While we can’t tell you exactly what’s installed for the blonde babe’s character Ash, who arrives in the Bay in October, we have no doubt he will bring an explosive plot line.
So what do we know about George?
Turns out, the genetically-blessed actor has been acting for quite some time.
“I’ve wanted to be an actor since I was 13,” the 24-year-old told TV Week.
“I moved to Australia in August last year. I’d been acting in New Zealand up until then, but the plan was always to come here.
And it wasn’t long before an opportunity for the aspiring actor to pursue his passion came knocking.
“Jessica Grace Smith, who plays Denny in the show, is a friend of mine. I knew she’d gone and done it. It was always something I’d wanted to have a crack at. Home and Away has been a great breeding ground for some pretty awesome actors.”

Of his character, George says he is a bit of a ‘mystery man.’
“It’s all drama, and my character Ash is a bit of a mystery man. It’s certainly interesting when he hits the beach.”
