And it looks like Sarah Michelle Gellar is sliding straight back into her bad girl character Kathryn Merteuil seamlessly.
On Monday, the 38-year-old delighted fans as she shared the first shot from the set of the highly-anticipated TV sequel.
Sitting pretty in her dressing room the mother-of-two, who recently dyed her blonde locks back to brunette to reprise her role, pouts for the cameras underneath a sign that reads “Kathyrn makeup.”
“#Crueltv #makeup #kathrynmerteuil Don’t think she’s much of a jeans and tee shirt kind of girl,” the star captioned the pic.
Last week, SMG also posted a shot of the TV script and mused: “How I am spending the 17 anniversary of the release of #cruelintentions #Crueltv.”
Last year it was confirmed NBC would be revisiting the 1999 film for a TV remake.
The series will focus on the son of the late Sebastian Valmont, which was played by Ryan Phillippe, who is called Bash.
Bash discovers his late father’s diaries and that’s when Kathryn steps in as she tries to manipulate him.
