Further damaging his already tarnished reputation, it is revealed that Blake Garvey may have been the owner of a male stripper service as well as a previous stripper himself.
As if his reputation wasn’t tarnished enough, it now appears that Australia’s latest Bachelor, Blake Garvey was previously the owner of Alpha Male Entertainment – “Perth’s premier male entertainment provider…for everything from hens parties to ladies nights and birthday parties”.
Back in July as the show was about to air, it was revealed that Blake came clean about his former life as a stripper and topless waiter, in apparent attempt to come clean about his past so that it wouldn’t come back to haunt him.

At the time, Blake, 31, said that he fell into his topless career to help out a friend.
“A high school friend had someone pull out at the last minute for her hens’ night and needed a fill in. She begged me,” he told the Herald Sun. “I gave it a whirl, it was pretty funny. We’ve all had adventurous pasts.”

Now though, Blake, who has already drawn the ire of Australian women everywhere after he chose to end his relationship with Bachelor winner Sam Frost not long after proposing to her on air, has been dealt a further blow to his reputation. It seems he covered up the full extent of his stripper past in order to maintain his wholesome clean-cut on-air image that often saw him dubbed as “boring Blake” by viewers.

Australia’s latest Bachelor Blake Garvey’s stripper past is more extensive than previously revealed.
Blake has been revealed as the owner of male stripper service Alpha Male Entertainment – “Perth’s premier male entertainment provider…for everything from hens parties to ladies nights and birthday parties”.
Garvey, 31, said of his stripper past when it was first revealed: “I gave it a whirl, it was pretty funny.” It now seems that he more than just gave it a whirl – he was in fact quite the successful entrepeneur.
Pictures like this surfaced before the latest series of the Bachelor went to air, so confronting his past, Blake was obviously choosing to be open about it before the show went to air. As it turns out though – he didn’t come totally clean.
These photos, come from the Facebook page of the now defunct Perth nightspot “The Deen” and contradict the clean-cut image of the on-screen persona many viewers dubbed “boring Blake”.
Blake was seen here stripping off as an entrant in “Perth’s hottest bartender” competition in 2011.
The previous Bachelor Tim Robards also had a history of his own as a topless dancer, which didn’t come to light until after the show went to air.
“We’ve all had adventurous pasts,” Blake told the *Herald Sun* before the show began.
