Married at First Sight’s Michelle has been holding onto to a secret, but as the show wraps she can finally express her love for her new husband, and it wasn’t the one she met on the show but an old flame!
In an interview with Popsugar Michelle revealed that she and Rob “got married at the end of December last year, the 27th.”
“We’re just so in love and we just had the opinion that we’d wasted seven months of our lives apart and we don’t want to spend another day apart,” she added.
The blushing bride shared a gorgeous black and white snap of the pair on their wedding day walking through a field, holding hands.
“Another happy snap from our wedding day,” she captioned the shot.
The fashion designer also discussed with Popsugar about how her relationship with James had fizzled.
“We had never really spent any time without cameras being around us. I really just wanted to see what it was like to go out on a date without a camera crew there, or hang out with each other’s friends without a camera crew around.”
“I knew pretty quickly after everything went away that the feelings just weren’t there,” she explained.
Zoe and Alex shared their heartbreak on A Current Affair
While Michelle revealed her joy, other Married at First Sight contestants are facing tragedy as Zoe and Alex discussed their miscarriage on A Current Affair on Wednesday.
Alex told the show that finding out Zoe was pregnant “was the best news I’ve ever had, I was so happy!”
But sadly things took a tragic turn. “Unfortunately Zoe had a miscarriage and so it didn’t work out the way we were planning.”
Despite the incredibly sad circumstances, his girlfriend of a year said: “As sad as it is, I guess to have to have such happiness and then such sadness… we can hope that it will help build our love more and will make us really appreciate each other.”
