Home and Away fans needn’t worry about not getting their fix over Christmas, with the announcement that there will be two spin-off shows.
Foxtel confirmed the exciting news today, revealing the first special, Home and Away: Revenge, will air on the subscription service on Monday, December 19.
The second installment will come a month later on Thursday, January 26, 2017 – titled Home and Away: All or Nothing.
The beloved Aussie drama first dipped their toes into the world of spin-offs back in 2015 with the highly successful An Eye for an Eye.
Both specials will see the return of Summer Bay favourites Dan Ewing and Lisa Gormley, who reprise their much loved roles as Heath and Bianca Braxton.
Nic Westaway (Kyle Braxton) and Samantha Jade (Isla Schultz), will also return alongside the show’s veterans Lynne McGranger (Irene Roberts), Kyle Pryor (Nate Cooper) and George Mason (Martin Ashford).
Earlier this year, fans speculated that Dan would be back for the exciting spin-off, especially after his rather leading comments to Digital Spy.
“I’d be thrilled if they were to ask me. I’m busy but I wouldn’t have it any other way,” he told the website.
Fans were delighted with Dan and Lisa reprising their role as Heath and Bianca Braxton for the 2015 special.
“We picked up right where we left off,” Dan told TV Week at the time.
“We always had great chemistry and tried to bring a sense of humour to our roles.”
No doubt the new episodes will be bursting off our screens!
