Despite the fact Blake Garvey dumped her mere weeks after proposing on air, jilted Bachelor winner Samantha Frost says it’s time we gave him a break.
“No one deserves to be slandered,” Sam said, speaking to Confidential. “It is very hard and I am overwhelmed and so thankful for the support, but on the other hand he is copping it quite a bit.”

Some say Blake deserves to cop it – he certainly received a lukewarm reception from the studio audience during his interview on The Project earlier this week, when he told interviewer Carrie Bickmore that he was “heartbroken” after breaking up with Sam. He went on to say he actually had his heart broken many more times because: “I said goodbye to many, many incredible women – it’s going to take some time.”

There were plenty of cynical laughs from the crowd as it seemed Blake was feeling sorrier for himself than for the fiancee he dumped.
It seems Sam’s had a change of heart since she called Blake a “jackass” on air, as the tide of public support has moved overwhelmingly in her direction and Blake has been referred to as the most hated man in Australia.

Blake’s image was certainly not helped when he hung up on Kyle and Jackie O yesterday while on air during their KIIS FM breakfast radio show.
When it was Sam’s turn to go on the same show this morning, admitted that the couple had never even had sex. She also defended Blake again when she admitted to having seen him naked and Kyle attempted to ask her about the size of his package: “I’m not saying a thing!” she laughed.

Meanwhile Sam continues to be admired and yesterday posted the thank you message above to her Twitter and Instagram followers for their support.
Despite the heartbreak, it seems the 25-year-old could actually do well out of all of this drama – rumours are swirling she’s set to become Australia’s first Bachelorette and continue her own quest for love in front of the cameras.

So far she’s denied those rumours, saying on The Project: “I’m a bitBachelor-ed out at the moment but ask me again in six months.”
It doesn’t sound like she’s ruling anything out though, so we will eagerly await any Bachelorette-related announcements from Ten!
