The second and final part of Keeping up with the Kardashians: About Bruce shed light on the most intimate details of Bruce’s transition in order to take control of his narrative and keep his children up-to-date about the progress.
“So, like you don’t have a surgery to remove that [his penis] and then that means you’re the woman,” Kim Kardashian boldly asked her step-father.
He responded: “Remove the little thing down there? You can do an awful lot down there. As of right now, no [I don’t have an appointment to do that].”
In an effort to clear the air Bruce revealed: “As a guy, I was always attracted to women,” but he is still unsure on how he would feel when is gender reassignment is complete.
The youngest of Bruce’s step-daughters Khloe, although supportive, seemed to take the news the hardest, however in part two she was doing a bit better.
“Yeah my reaction was aggressive… I’ve never been through something like that before. I’ve always been team Bruce,” the 30-year-old reflected.
In what was perhaps the most moving moment of the two-part series, Bruce finally got some alone time with his former wife Kris Jenner, who previously made it clear that she was “not okay” with the change.
Bruce and Kris Jenner officially ended their 25 year relationship last year and now they are dealing with Bruce’s gender transition.
“For the first time in my life I’m trying to tell the truth,” the father-of-six tells his former wife in their most candid on-camera conversation ever.
He added: “You’re an amazing woman. We have had so many great moments together. 25 years of great moments together. They still live inside me.”
An understandably emotional Kris told her former partner: “I never saw this coming in a gazillion years.”
“I apologise for not being more open with you on these issues. I apologise for hurting you,” Bruce responded.
The overwhelmed matriarch of the Kardashian family went on to explain: “I just miss Bruce. It’s gonna take a minute for me to mourn that relationship. I’m trying so hard to process that pain. It’s a struggle.”
She finally added: “Live the happiest life you can live. That’s all I care about. That you’re going through all of this for an amazing outcome. And that you can find the peace that you’ve been searching for. You were a great dad, a great friend, a great partner.”
The heart-warming episode depicted the famous family’s journey with sincerity and honesty, and as a result taught the world some valuable lessons.
Meanwhile Kim Kardashian has emerged as the most supportive of Bruce’s children and recently told Access Hollywood she’s met Bruce as a woman: “It was amazing and she looked beautiful, really beautiful.”
“She was dressed up, beautiful make-up, beautiful hair, very, very beautiful and very comfortable.”
The mother-of-one also revealed she knows the name of her step-mother and loves it!
