The runners-up of TV’s the Bachelor have come out in support of Sam Frost as mystery continues to shroud the ending of her relationship with fiancé Blake Garvey.

Since the dramatic break-up, Sam’s former competitors on the show have come out to show their support for the jilted lovebird. Runner-up Lisa took to Instagram on Saturday posting a selfie of her and Sam, captioned: “Well I guess we went in looking for something else but I couldn’t be happier with the friendship I have gained! They say everything happens for a reason and I feel so blessed to have met you @fro01 Sisters before Misters”.
Sam later posted a snap of herself with another former competitor – Chantal Hryniewski (top) as the pair shared a drink together, Sam captioned it: “My rock @tal_ski #lovebubble xxx”.
So it seems that while Blake has been dubbed a love rat, and one of the most hated men in Australia, the girls of The Bachelor have got each other’s backs.
Following a lack of media interviews following the emotional finale, rumours immediately began to circulate that things weren’t so great in paradise. A spokesperson from Network Ten then released the following statement:
“Network Ten can confirm that Blake and Sam have sadly ended their engagement. When Blake proposed to Sam in South Africa, he did so because he had genuinely fallen in love with her. He was excited to start a life with Sam and was very much looking forward to their future together.”
“Unfortunately, not all relationships are meant to be, and feelings invariably change. Once Blake returned to his everyday life, he realised that they both wanted different things from a relationship and had different priorities. Blake has the greatest love and respect for Sam, but has made the difficult decision to end the relationship.”
Adding to the mystery, Sam also posted the following to her Twitter page:
It seems that women across Australia have come out in support of the jilted contestant, taking to social media to show their empathy, as rumours circulate of Sam getting her own spin-off series – The Bachelorette.
