He’s the first ever Australian citizen to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest and despite a million eyes being fixated on this wild card entrant, the 33-year-old is handling the entire experience like a pro!
On Wednesday the father-of-two impressed the crowds during rehearsals at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria and has quickly become a fan favourite.
And it’s not just the punters taking notice of the Aussie popstar – even last year’s winner Conchita Wurst has backed the Battle Scars hitmaker.
“He is a mega star, he knows how this game works. He knows how to perform, he looks good and has a great voice,” the 26-year-old recently told Woman’s Day.
And we can’t help but agree with Conchita. Go Guy!
Ahead of the show kicking off on Saturday, Guy took to the stage to rehearse in Vienna, Austria on Wednesday.
The 33-year-old performed his new single, which was penned especially for Eurovision, Tonight Again.
Guy is the talk of Europe at the moment!
The father-of-two looked sharp in a blazer which he teamed with a crisp white shirt, mustard chinos and a fedora.
“I’m so excited. Australia loves Eurovision. It’s been on over there for more than 30 years and we’re excited to be a part of it. I’ve felt so welcome from the fans. It’s been amazing,” Guy explained at rehearsals.
Earlier in the week Guy rocked another dapper ensemble when he attended the Opening Ceremony at Rathaus Wien in Vienna, Austria.
The Eurovision finale will air on SBS Sunday May 24 and we’ll be crossing our finger, toes, elbows and nose for you Guy!
