When the Olympic Games roll around every four years, Australia is always captivated by the talented athletes and inspirational moments that occur in the lead up to, and at the actual event.
With swimming being Australia’s most successful sport in Olympic history so far, we’re sure the nation will be keeping a particularly close eye on the swimmers at the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Below, we list everyone who has qualified for the all-important event.
The 2024 Australian Swimming Trials recently took place from 10 to 15 June, and there was plenty of action.
The Trials are the most prestigious domestic swimming event in the national calendar and, in 2024, they acted as the crucial Olympic qualification meet.
The national swimming team, the Dolphins, were selected at the Trials, where the country’s best athletes raced for a chance to compete at the upcoming Olympics.
The swimmers that finished in the top two of their event qualified, as long as they achieved a time that met the Australian Olympic qualifying benchmark, which was set by Swimming Australia.
The Aussie swimmers certainly put their best stroke forward and came out of the blocks firing at the meet.
