Starring Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monáe, the film tells the amazing story of Katherine G. Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson who worked behind the scenes at NASA and served as the brains behind the operation to launch the first U.S. astronaut John Glenn into orbit.

Set in 1960s Virginia, the three mathematicians were true pioneers, crossing gender and race lines to turn the Space Race around and inspire future generations to dream big. It’s no wonder the feelgood family movie – that features original music from Pharrell Williams – is already earning Oscar buzz!
