Here at Woman's Day we have marvelled over every step leading up to and during the wedding of the year. So much so we want to give one lucky winner the opportunity to relive the magic!

As we “oohed” and “aahed” over the gown, the guests, cheeky George and Charlotte, and the beauty that was Harry and Meghan’s wedding, we had an idea… Why don’t we bring together some of our favourite designers and cake makers to recreate the Royal Wedding for our readers?

THE DRESS, valued at $10,000

Once dubbed the Valentino of Australia, Rhonda Hemmingway is a highly acclaimed couturier with a passion for creating perfectly cut, made-tomeasure gowns for weddings and formal occasions. Rhonda is no stranger to celebrity and royal weddings. In 2012, she made gowns for the bridal party of Princess Sinaitakala Fakafanua of Tonga. Rhonda’s second royal wedding was in 2014 for Count Anton Andreas von Faber-Castell and Kate Stahl in Bavaria, Germany.

“I had expected the dress to be quite simple so I wasn’t disappointed. In fact, I think Meghan’s choices were all spot on and that hand-embroidered veil was magnificent,” said Rhonda of the gown. It took her and her team three days and 40 metres of double lined Valentino faille fabri to recreate the Givenchy-inspired wedding dress.
