And now, one royal family member has revealed that on the day she was feeling “uncomfortable”, but not for the reason you may think.

Prince Harry’s cousin, Zara Tindall revealed to the UK Telegraph that attending the wedding of the year was quite physically unpleasant, as she was eight months pregnant at the time.

“I was uncomfortable! My bum sort of slid over either side [of the pew] and Lena kicked the hell out of me for an hour,” Princess Anne’s daughter confessed to the publication.

“It just wasn’t comfy at all, and it probably showed on my face.”

Bishop Michael Curry’s speech was a memorable highlight of the day for everyone, whether you loved or hated it.

But during that 13 minute speech, you’re bound to get a bit fidgety, especially when you’re in your third trimester!

“It was just the general amount of time everything was taking,” she said of the speech.

“I think my face was probably caught the point when I thought, ‘Right he’s going to finish now’ and then he went off on another little story and it was like, “Really?'”

Zara and her husband former rugby star Mike Tindall are proud parents to daughters Mia, five and Lena, one, and being less senior members of the royal family, are allowed to live a more “normal” family life, compared to her high-ranking cousins.

“The difference between Zara and Princes William and Harry are as much as night and day,” says a palace spokesman.

“Because she’s grown up without the weight and expectation of a title, she’s been allowed to develop into her own person. She is without a doubt the most independent, smart and wildly funny member of her generation of the monarchy. She’s incredibly grateful to Princess Anne for allowing her this freedom. You can bet Meghan and Harry have noticed that and taken a leaf out of Anne’s book.”

Along with her brother Peter Phillips, Zara does not have a royal title such as Princess or Duchess.

“I’m very lucky that both my parents decided to not use the title we grew up with and did all the things that gave us the opportunity to do,” she explains.

“We were able to be more adventurous than say, William.”
