The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have joined the record crowds gathered to remember the 40 Australian soldiers who died in Afghanistan.
On their final day in Australia, the Royal pair attended an Anzac Day dawn service in the nation’s capital alongside Governor-General Sir Peter Cosgrove.
This morning’s ceremony marked the 99th anniversary of the landing of Australian and New Zealand soldiers at Gallipoli.
William and Catherine will attend the national service in Canberra later today before departing Australia for the UK.
