Prince William is due to become a father any day now but like the rest of the world eagerly awaiting the royal baby’s arrival, he needs a way to kill the time.

A charity polo match featuring the father-to-be and brother Prince Harry became one of the most closely watched games ever as William left expectant mother Kate’s side to play.

The reportedly overdue Duchess has escaped to the country to spend her pre-baby days with her family in their Berkshire mansion.

Prince William and uncle-to-be Harry played a charity polo match on Sunday.

The Prince is due to become a father any day now.

The brothers seemed relaxed joking with each other on the stands.

William unexpectedly left the field at one point during the game.

But it was wasn’t baby-related. Just that his horse was tired.

Was Wills’ mind on the game or the baby?

The Prince seemed relaxed and played well.

The match took place 160km from where Kate is staying with her parents.
