The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who have long had a love affair with tennis, found it difficult to keep it together while cheering on British favourite and reigning champion Andy Murray from the royal box on Wednesday.

While there’s no denying that a sporty Catherine looked lovely in her recycled white Zimmermann dress which she wore while on tour in Australia, the 32-year-old just couldn’t contain her excitement.

Throughout the quarter final match, that saw Murray knocked out of the competition, the Duchess was seen pulling faces of disbelief, shock and excitement.

The royal pair, who spent most of the match on the edge of their seats, were also seen clapping and shaking their heads during the intense game.

At one point, Catherine was seen biting her lip with nerves while William anxiously put his hands on his face.

Other A-listers who were snapped at the match included Hugh Grant and Princess Beatrice.
