It takes a village to raise children, and sometimes parents need a little support from other family members when work commitments pile up.

Unfortunately, Duchess Catherine and Prince William can’t always rely on family because they themselves are very busy carrying out their own duties.

But luckily, Wills and Kate have access to staff that are familiar to each of their three kids and can step in to take care for them whenever it’s needed.

Kate and Prince William are currently on an official tour in Scotland, and royal fans have been curious about who is looking after Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, three, who cannot travel due to their school and nursery commitments in London.

British publication HELLO! put concerns to rest and revealed that the children are being looked after by their live-in nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, who has been with the family since 2014.

The Spanish nanny received her qualifications from the prestigious Norland College in Bath, which offers a bachelor in early years development and learning.

According to HELLO!, Maria has “worked for other high-profile families, and it was from there that the Cambridge’s heard of her and hired her,” and she is, of course, completely professional and “married to the job.”

Furthermore, while other family members are busy with royal events, Kate can also rely on her non-royal mother, Carole Middleton.

Carole Middleton, 66 and Kate are very close and understandably, she absolutely loves spending time with her grandchildren.

Kate and William’s tour of Scotland is the couple’s first engagement outside of England in five months.

The couple are attending various engagements – on Monday, they visited The Scottish Violence Reduction Unit, and yesterday they formally opened the Balfour Hospital in Kirkwall.

When Prince William was attending the Scottish Cup Final at The Cold House in Edinburgh, which was held before Kate joined him, the Prince joked with first responders who were watching the game about life with in-laws.

“Some people are quite happy they haven’t seen their in-laws for a year,” quipped William.

The Prince quickly made sure to add, “I love my in-laws.”
