Nelson Giles is the hot newcomer in Summer Bay, a movie director who has followed movie star Steve to Palm Beach in Home And Away.
While Nelson is a newbie on our screen, his actor Mahesh Jadu isn’t, rather he has ventured onto the set of many television series that we love including Neighbours.
The Perth-born actor previously played character Dr Doug Harris in Neighbours between 2010 and 2011.
However, regular doom-scrollers on Netflix may recognise the 41-year-old actor from The Witcher where he stars as Vilgefortz alongside Henry Cavil (Geralt of Rivia), Anya Chalotra (Yennefer of Vengerberg) and Freya Allan Eamon (Ciri).
In the third season it was revealed Vilgefortz was in fact on of the villains in the popular Netflix fantasy series, and will make a return for the fourth season – where Henry will be replaced by Liam Hemsworth.
Mahesh additionally starred in the Netflix drama series, Marco Polo as Ahmad which aired from 2014 to 2016.
He also starred in the fifth addition to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017) alongside Javier Bardem, Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush and Kaya Scodelario.
“I broke my nose on the black pearl with a sword, someone else’s sword in a big fight scene,” Jadu told AAA Weekend.
In this interview, Mahesh explained while he has worked in many exotic locations, he “wanted to work at home, I wanted to work on something Australian.”
Outside of his various on-screen projects, Mahesh appears to favour keeping his private life a secret, sharing more arty photos to his personal Instagram account rather than personal images despite his career in the spotlight.
If his Instagram was a tell-tail sign of his dating life, we would presume Mahesh is single.
