Known and loved around the world for their impeccable harmonies and iconic sound, the Beach Boys are releasing a brand new exciting project.
The Beach Boys’ documentary will feature unseen footage and new interviews with the band members and show audiences behind the scenes of the group’s early days and now.
Aptly named The Beach Boys, the new documentary will hit our screens in May 2024, and is a “celebration of the legendary band that revolutionised pop music”.
Band member Brian Wilson has reflected on the documentary, sharing: “I’m super happy with the way the documentary turned out, they did an amazing job. It really brought me back to those days with the boys, the fun and the music. And of course, those incredible harmonies.”
Formed in 1961, the Beach Boys have continued to captivate fans for generations, and now their story and legacy will be immortalised in film.
The upcoming documentary will follow the band’s humble family beginnings as well as include interviews with the Beach Boys members Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, David Marks and Bruce Johnston.
Not only that, but statements from other music legends such as Lindsey Buckingham, Janelle Monae and Ryan Tedder will also be included.
