If she’s stolen Prince Harry’s heart then she must be pretty special, and according to a new report Prince Harry’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, approves of his new romance with actress Meghan Markle.
US Weekly claim The Queen is “fully supportive” of the couple and is thrilled to see her 32-year-old grandson so happy.
Although Meghan and the Queen are yet to meet, palace sources say Her Majesty is “delighted to see Harry in a loving relationship.”
A meeting with The Queen may be a while off yet, after all Duchess Catherine didn’t meet the 90-year-old until five years into her relationship with Prince William.
Now six months into their exciting love story, Prince Harry has enlisted the help of his trusted aides to help the Suits actress navigate the challenges that come with dating a royal.
US Weekly report that Harry’s communications secretary Jason Knauf and private secretary Ed Lane Fox are providing Meghan with help.
“There have been times where Meghan’s been unsure [of protocol]. And having a direct line to Harry’s most trusted aides has been a godsend,” the insider explains.
No doubt the 35-year-old has turned to the team this week after she was the victim of a cruel fake photo leak.
Photos claiming to be Meghan sunbaking topless with her ex-husband Trevor Engelson in Greece from over ten years ago were published online.
However, E! News have since confirmed the images aren’t of Meghan.
Although Harry and Meghan are spending Christmas day apart – with the British royal at Sandringham and the star in Toronto with her family – it’s believed the couple will spend New Year’s Eve together and enjoy a low-key holiday.
