It’s the reunion we are all waiting for and now the first official photo from the Will & Grace revival is here! Megan Mullally (who plays Karen Walker) took to Twitter to share the new poster and it’s dripping with the quirky humour we all love.
The poster features our favourite cast members who will be “back this fall.” Get it?!
If you’re still catching up, the cast reunited for a 10-minute special during the US presidential election but us fans wanted more – and we got it. NBC announced in January it was bringing back the much-loved sitcom for a 10-episode ninth season.
Deborah Messing has also shared her excitement about the reunion. “When we did [the skit], we could not believe how comfortable it was and how it felt like no time had passed.” Adding, “It’s been 11 years and I think the thing that is most exciting is that everybody is coming back.”
The entire original cast including Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Sean Hayes and the fabulous Megan Mullally will all be back bigger, bolder and funnier than ever.
“We’re thrilled that one of the smartest, funniest, and most defining comedies in NBC history is coming back,” said NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt. “This ground-breaking series for everything from gay rights to social and political commentary — all disguised as a high-speed train of witty pop culture — is coming back where it belongs.”
And we won’t have to wait long to catch up on our favourite TV characters, the revival is set to air in the US autumn (September to December).
