Ever since season 4 of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! was confirmed, we’ve been guessing which celebs would be swapping their cosy beds for jungle cots. In the lead-up to the show’s premiere on January 29, there have been some juicy hints dropped about who we might see on our screens. Here are our top guesses…
Guess: Many people have theorised this duo could be none other than Rove McManus and Kyle Sandilands, who have been battling a war of words for years. Other suggestions have included The Veronicas who had a falling out on Twitter last year, to AFL footballers Garry Lyon and Billy Brownless.
Guess: Fans of the show seem to agree that it’s Glenn Robbins. Glenn is an all-round funny man, and his character Kel Knight from Kath & Kim, technically married into one of our country’s most well-known families.
Guess: With so many AFL players having won premierships, guessing this one is a little tricky. But could it be Jason Akermanis? Not only is he a three-time premiership winner but his bleach-blonde hair and contrasting black beard made him easily identifiable on the field.
Guess: The wording of the hint “in excess”, has many people tipping someone from former rock band INXS. Other suggestions include Shannon Noll and Mark Lizotte (Diesel). Although Jimmy Barnes is a strong contender, his health problems could prevent him from partaking in the show.
Guess: Many people believe professional boxer, Danny Green who fought for coward’s punch education, will be paying a visit to South Africa. But there are others who want to see Ian Thorpe.
Guess: With another play on words, this could be hinting towards an actor from the drama series Sea Change, which ended in 2000. Other guesses? Sigrid Thornton, John Howard, and Kevin Harrington.
Guess: One of Australia’s best known comedians, Kitty Flanagan, might be dropping into the jungle for some laughs. Other guesses include Meshel Laurie, Magda Szubanski, or even Em Rusciano. We’ll just have to wait and see!
Guess: Since this hint was released, fans have been tossing up between last years The Block winner Elyse Knowles, and The Real Housewives of Sydney star, Lisa Oldfield. Elyse, however, may still be contracted to Channel 9, which leaves the door open for a Housewives star to possibly enter the jungle.
Other Guesses:
Fran Drescher: There have been rumours that Fran Drescher, star of the United States hit sitcom The Nanny, may head into the jungle.
Mercedes Corby: The sister of convicted drug smuggler, Mercedes Corby, could also be flying to South Africa for the show.
Vicky Pattinson: After winning the U.K version of I’m A Celeb, Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattinson may hoping for a double dose of glory.
