The big talking points on TV this week

Here's what has tongues wagging in the TV WEEK office.
Poldark

1. Poldark: Ross is boss

Our favourite antihero โ€จis back for more shirtless scything! Last season, Captain Ross Poldark (Aidan Turner) crossed a dangerous line with former flame Elizabeth (Heida Reed). How will it affect his relationship with his wife, โ€จthe fiery Demelza (Eleanor Tomlinson), in season three? No doubt thereโ€™ll be much brooding on cliff tops and windswept walks along the stunning Cornish coast.

2. Wanted: Stephen is BACK!

The Peacocke has landed! Yep, Stephen Peacocke returns this week as no-nonsense detective Josh Levine in Wanted. Weโ€™ve been keen to see Stephen spread his wings following his days as River Boy Brax in Home And Away. And heโ€™s certainly in the thick of the action in New Zealand.

3. House Rules: Was a baddie a bad move?

It seemed like everyone wanted villains Fiona and Nicole eliminated from House Rules. But now the Victorian besties have been kicked out, doesnโ€™t it feel like the showโ€™s missing something? Itโ€™s turned into a reality show just about renovation. Even Cyclone Debbie couldnโ€™t cause as much havoc as this pair. Yes, itโ€™s a reno show, but we like some drama with our drilling!

3. Hamish and Andy: Best guests on a roll

It pays to have friends in high places. In the space โ€จof just three episodes of True Story With Hamish & Andy, viewers have seen some of Australiaโ€™s top talent. They include Craig McLachlan and Fiona Choi, helping โ€จto portray the hilarious stories of regular Aussies. So whoโ€™s next in the star-studded line-up? Perhaps one of The Voice coaches? Weโ€™re looking at you, Delta.

5. Home And Away: The next Bonnie?

Home And Away newcomer Sophie Dillman is giving us โ€จthat dรฉjร  vu feeling. It could be because sheโ€™s blonde and sporty โ€“ a perfect fit for the beachside drama. Or because โ€จshe looks uncannily like former cast member Bonnie Sveen, who played Ricky. Sophieโ€™s character Ziggy also has a nose for trouble and chases bad boys. But producers be warned: there can only be one Brax.
