When Tim Conlon stepped on stage for his blind audition last night, there was only one person in the room he was looking to impress – coach Delta Goodrem.
And while he managed to do just that, it’s was the flirting that went down between the good-looking pair that set tongues wagging with fans taking to social media to comment on their chemistry.
“You are amazing and so is Delta. I see love forming,” one wrote on Instagram.
“Aww, your rose to Delta was the sweetest,” another shared.
But according to Tim, who is happily single and friends with last year’s winner Alfie Arcuri, his relationship with the Aussie songstress is purely professional.
“I had planned the rose in case Delta turned around as a way of saying thank you,” the handsome 23-year-old explains.
“I did want to go with Delta because I’m a big fan of her music and she’s a song writer as well so she gets it.”
So what about THAT kiss? Well, the former rugby player who gave it all up to pursue his music dream says he too was surprised when the 33-year-old ran up on stage and planted one on him.
“It was a nice moment,” Tim says.
“I think it was a nice way of just showing her support for me.”
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Tim on our screens. Turns out he also once auditioned for The X Factor.
“I grew up playing sport but music was always there,” Tim says of his love of music.
“I’ve been playing the guitar from a young age and can still remember singing around the house and that.”
