Confidence has always been hard-fought for Judah Kelly.
But as his popularity on The Voice has grown, the man they’ve dubbed “King Judah” has shed his inhibitions.
And his fans are commenting that’s not all he’s shed – the 20-year-old singer is looking his best yet.
Judah attritbutes his mental and physical wellbeing to the support he’s been receiving from his legion of followers.
“People are so amazing,” he says. “They send messages all the time.”
It seems the outpouring of love for his on-stage performances has done wonders for the young star.
“If you hear often enough, you start to believe it,” he says.
To cope with the long hours and stress, Judah says he got his “first ever flu shot” to avoid the lurgy.
He also makes sure he’s got lots of fresh food so he can cook his own meals.
“Obviously, trying to eat well is a priority – if you eat crap, you’re going to feel like crap,” he says.
“Luckily, I can cook. I’m no Jamie Oliver, but I cook a mean steak.”
When asked about the secret to his newfound onstage smoulder, Judah jokes he compares it to a pregnancy glow.
“You know when a woman is pregnant and they say they have a glow about them? It’s kind of the same,” he explains.
“I’m really happy, and I’m really proud of my achievements. Hopefully, that’s showing.”
