Former The Block contestants Bec and George Douros have announced via Instagram that they are expanding their family.
The couple, who welcomed their first son Archie in 2015, made the announcement whilst on holiday in Positano, Italy.
Bec’s caption reads:
“I could try to tell you that this belly is the excessive amount of pasta I have consumed since arriving in Italy but it wouldn’t be the whole truth….
We are excited to welcome another baby boy next February into our family.”
The caption accompanied a beautiful picture of Bec and her bump, alongside hubby George and little Archie, who are both looking out at the stunning views of Positano, while mum Bec looks lovingly at them.
Melbourne-based Bec and George first hit our screens in 2013 on The Block Sky High and have since become regulars on TV.
Bec is also the founder of lifestyle blog Bec Marks The Spot where she shares everything from design inspiration and life as a mother.
Following the birth of Archie in 2015, Bec revealed that her and George had struggled to become parents.
“We tried for a while to fall pregnant, but when I did in mid-2012, which was just before we went on The Block Sky High, I had a miscarriage at seven weeks. It was devastating,” Bec told Woman’s Day.
“I’m a big believer in the universe working in mysterious ways and this is just perfect timing for us. We finished our time on The Block Triple Threat earlier this year and then moved into this house, and that’s when I found out I was pregnant [with Archie].”
