They were the fan faves on The Block in 2014, and now Kyal and Kara Demmrich have more to be excited about – they’re having another baby!
Kara, 29, debuted her beautiful baby bump on the couple’s join Instagram account overnight.
“Showing a heck of a lot quicker with our second babe!,” she wrote.
“This time around, I’m focusing on enjoying this pregnancy and not being so nervous about the physical changes that occur… What a miracle it is growing a human.”
The new baby is due in May 2018 and will be joining big brother Ziya Christopher. The NSW Central Coast couple announced the baby news last week, sharing adorable snaps of the family-of-three with a drawing of a stick figure in the sand.
“Our little family is about to get a little bigger! Ziya is totally pumped to have a little bro or sis – due to arrive May 2018,” the caption read.
“I guess everyone will start telling us ‘you thought you were busy with one kid’ Bring it on little one, we can’t wait to meet you!”
The Block co-host Shelley Craft wished her congratulations, writing on the pic: “Thrilled and delighted for you all,” and this year’s Block winners Josh Barker and Elyse Knowles wrote “Congrats, guys.”
The hard-working couple (who have been married for nine years) came third in Fans vs Faves, walking away with $567,250. They’ve recently finished renovating a home in Long Jetty, and make regular appearances on Channel Ten’s The Living Room.
