Starring the very single and stunning Sophie Monk, the classic Queen tune Somebody To Love makes for the perfect partnership as the 37-year-old makes her way down a street in Sydney bumping into happy couples along the way.

Cheesy? Perhaps. But we’ve all been there.

Next, while walking past a store, Sophie falls in love with a dress she sees in the window which conveniently happens to be red.

After going inside, the doors re-open and then, abracadabra, she’s turned into the Bachelorette!

“I’m in the public eye, but away from that I’m just a regular woman and I’m open to committing fully to finding love,” she says, adding it was her mum who encouraged her to go on the show.

“I moved back to Australia a couple of years ago and I’ve embraced life back in the suburbs on the Gold Coast. I love having my parents and family nearby, but I’m missing that one person to share it with.”

So just what kind of man is Sophie looking for?

“Someone that really likes me for me. Someone that works because I don’t want to pay for everything. Just a man who has good self-esteem.”

While Network TEN is still yet to announce a launch date for The Bachelorette, we hear some of the men set to be vying for Sophie’s heart certainly tick all the boxes.
