With just over a week to go before Sophie Monk picks her winning suitor, fans are desperate to know where The Bachelorette Australia’s finale will be held and what they can expect.
And Woman’s Day have it on good authority the team behind the hit show have followed in the footsteps of The Bachelorette US, by choosing the Namale Resort & Spa on Vanua Levu, Fiji, where Ashley Hebert eventually decided her now husband, JP Rosenbaum, was The One in 2011.
Owned by motivational speaker and author Tony Robbins, the intimate luxury resort has 19 bures (traditional Fijian bungalows) and villas, and an award-winning spa and sanctuary on a volcanic cliff.
It’s also the perfect venue for the “destination wedding of your dreams” – and no doubt the ideal spot for walking down the aisle should Sophie, 37, decide to make things official on the night.
Indeed, the former Bardot singer has already hinted there will be a few surprises in store on the finale, which is set to air on Thursday, October 26th.
“All I can say is that I think you’re going to be really surprised at the ending,” she told radio hosts Dave Hughes and Kate Langbroek last week.
While Sydney publican Stu Laundy has been tipped for the win, rumours are rife Sophie may have actually picked 24-year-old magician Apollo, the youngest suitor of the bunch, instead.
“We’re still together and still in love… I’m very happy,” said Sophie about her new relationship last week.
There’s certainly enough evidence to suggest Apollo, 24, has won Sophie’s heart.
Over the course of the series he’s had two very successful single dates with Sophie and this week it’s likely the magician will introduce her to his family – who conveniently hail from Sophie’s home, the Gold Coast.
And it’s believed the boys are finding it near impossible to get hold of the hunk as they meet up around the country now filming has wrapped.
