She impressed Matty J when she showed up in a police car on night one of The Bachelor Australia.
But tonight, the siren finally sounded for Michelle.
As the finale draws near, there’s no doubt the rose ceremonies are getting tougher for our main man Matty.
And tonight it was down to Michelle and Elora. Sadly, it was Michelle who took the bullet.
But the Police Officer from Perth tells TV WEEK she knew it was coming.
“I wasn’t surprised at all,” she says.
“I had said to a couple of the girls during the cocktail party that I felt it was going to be me going home because I hadn’t had a single date yet – and I was right.”
Michelle says despite not landing a one-on-one date, she did spend a bit of time with Matty but it didn’t make it to air.
“Yeah, we did spend some time together after group dates and that but it wasn’t shown. I don’t know why but at the end of the day, I was happy with the way I was portrayed. Everything you see and how everyone behaves is accurate.”
Since leaving The Bachelor mansion, Michelle has returned to work as a police officer.
“Everyone at work has been really supportive and they do give me a bit of a hard time about being on the show,” Michelle reveals.
“Funnily enough though it’s the male officers who have been watching the show more than the women which is quite hilarious.”
While Michelle admits she’s yet to find her perfect partner, the 31-year-old has been inundated with marriage proposals and requests to take her out on dates from complete strangers.
“It is flattering but it’s a little strange at the same time,” Michelle laughs.
“Even when I’m on the job, people are coming up to me because they recognise me.”
Thankfully, Michelle’s investigative skills have come in handy and she’s has been able to sort the good guys from the badies.
“I know which ones are the crazy’s and who’s not,” Michelle says.
“I’m still looking for love and haven’t been on any dates as yet but I’m sure it will all happen soon enough.”
