Television host Sarah Harris cuts to the chase before TV WEEK starts our interview.
โRight, get down on the floor,โ she orders.
โUm, the floor?โ
โYes, Iโm going to show you a trick,โ she says. โIf youโre trying for a baby, what you need to do is the โfertility bicycleโ after each time you try.โ
The Studio 10 star then proceeds to demonstrate a bicycle motion while lying flat on her back, before jumping back up to sit down for a chat.
โA girlfriend showed me that while I was trying for my son, Paul,โ she grins. โIt works!โ
Jumping on the โfertility bikeโ might be in order for Sarah once more, with the 35-year-old mother-of-one revealing she and husband Tom Ward are trying for baby number two.
โWeโre both from big families and like a house that has lots of noise and joy,โ Sarah says of expanding the brood. โIt would be kind of chaotic, but worth it.โ
And she wonโt stop at one more โ she plans to have three.
โUnfortunately, I donโt have too much time on my side,โ Sarah says. โIโm 36 this year, so I canโt leave it too long.
โBut at the end of the day, itโs up to what nature does or what the universe wants for you.โ
Most TV personalities would keep any talk of family under wraps. But Sarahโs openness and honesty with her Studio 10 audience has won her fans across the country.
Itโs no surprise, then, that sheโs picked up a TV WEEK Logie Award nomination for Best Presenter.
โI feel humbled to be nominated alongside such a brilliant bunch of people who are so good at what they do,โ she says.
โIโm so grateful to all of our loyal Studio 10 viewers who voted for me. To me, this nomination already feels like a victory. Iโm over the moon!โ
