The Bachelorette Australia, 2017 finale is just two sleeps away and now, on the eve of the last chapter the show has been rocked with a heart-wrenching scandal.
According to an explosive new report from The Daily Telegraph, Sophie Monk’s rumoured new partner Stu Laundy has been linked to newly single businesswoman and Sydney socialite Tiffany Tilley.
Word on the leafy streets of Sydney’s swanky eastern suburbs is that Stu and Tiffany, who recently broke up with her husband of 19 years property developer Ben Tilley, were seeing each other while Sophie was in Thailand.
“It is all over the eastern suburbs,” an insider told The Daily Telegraph.
“I even overheard a group of guys talking about it at [Double Bay bar] Pelicano the other night.”
In fact, the rumour has reportedly even managed to spread right back to Tiffany’s ex-husband Ben, who also happens to be besties with James Packer.
“Ben and his brother rang Stu to get to the bottom of what was going on. Apparently Stu denied any involvement with Tiffany,” a source claims of the Bachelorette brouhaha.

It’s believed Tiffany called off her marriage to Ben at the start of the year and the couple are in the middle of selling their luxurious Point Piper mansion, which is next door to Malcolm Turnbull’s sprawling digs.
According to The Australian, Ben and Tiffany purchased the home in 2011 for a cool $13.6 million and are hoping to sell it for $25 million.
Throughout the whole season, Stu has pitched himself as a reformed party boy and insisted his Playboy reputation is a thing of the past.
But in light of this new report, you can hardly blame Sophie for second guessing the 44-year-old.
For her part, Sophie says she couldn’t be happier with her Chosen One.
“I’m in love – 100 per cent,” she told TV WEEK on Monday.
“We’re in the finishing stretch now. It’ll be nice when it’s all over and I can walk down the street with him – just go to Coles and stuff.”
“It will be a relief to just get out and do normal things again.”
So be warned Stu! Because when the whole country is rooting for Sophie’s happily ever after, you better believe they’ll have her back.
