Stan just unveiled its October line-up of new TV shows and films, and it’s safe to say this month is a movie-lover’s dream.
Classic franchises like Anchorman, The Godfather, Sex and the City, The Ring and The Addams Family will be dropping, along with other hits such as The Hurt Locker, Dreamgirls and American Gigolo.
Plus, they released a BUNCH of family-friendly movies and shows at the end of September, just in time for the school holidays. Favourites including The Lion King, Shrek, Madagascar, The Lego Movie, Dora The Explorer, PAW Patrol: Mighty Pups, The Wiggles and Bob The Builder are now available to stream.
The final season of the Will & Grace revival will premiere in Australia only on Stan, on the same day as the US on the 25th of October.
New series Godfather of Harlem – starring Academy Award-winning actor Forest Whitaker as infamous mob boss Bumpy Johnson – has arrived, with new episodes dropping weekly.
Looking For Alaska, the new teen drama based on John Green’s acclaimed novel of the same name, will drop the same day as the US later this month. The series has been created by the team behind Gossip Girl, and follows Miles ‘Pudge’ Halter (Charlie Plummer), a bored teen who meets the incandescent free spirit Alaska, played by Kristine Froseth (The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair), when he starts at a new school.
