Sophie Monk might be ready to ditch the heels for uggs and settle down with the man of her dreams – aka Stu Laundy – but she shouldn’t get too comfy just yet.
Australia fell in love with Sophie all over again during The Bachelorette and it’s not the last time we will be seeing her on our screens. In fact, Sophie could be hosting the Aussie version of the UK dating series Love Island.
According to an insider, her career is hotter than ever and bigwigs at Love Island HQ are desperate to sign her up as the host of the first-ever Aussie series.
ICYMI, Channel Nine announced that they’ll be bringing the much loved UK series – which will see contestants whisked away to Spain to find love – to Australia in 2018. And, we hear Soph’s been approached by Channel Nine to host the dating program.
Given Love Island will air on a rival network, Sophie is caught in the middle as she’s technically still contracted to Network Ten. But, she’d better make up her mind real quick though, as they’re already looking at other potential hosts.
In fact, former Bachie contestant, Keira Maguire could also be a contender for the role.
“Let’s just say I’ve been wanting to do a hosting gig for a while,” she previously told NW and this could be the perfect opportunity.
Meanwhile, Alex Nation and Georgia Love are just a few other names being thrown into the mix.
