Sheโ€™s done it! Dancing With The Stars, The Voice and Big Brother host Sonia Kruger has just been crowned the Gold Logie Award-winner at the 63rd TV WEEK Logie Awards.

Capping off televisionโ€™s night of nights, Sonia appeared overjoyed to accept the nightโ€™s highest honour: the TV WEEK Gold Logie Award for Most Popular Personality On Australian TV.

โ€œIt feels ridiculously amazing, but not real, and I sort of feel like Iโ€™m having this weird dream and any minute now Iโ€™m going to wake up,โ€ Sonia told TV WEEK just moments after her win. โ€œItโ€™s just amazing. Iโ€™m so happy, itโ€™s crazy.โ€

Osher has secured his first Gold Logie Award.

โ€œI cannot, I cannot, I cannot believe that. I have to compose myself, I am not used to being on TV,โ€ Sonia told the crowd as she accepted her award at the Logies.

โ€œI have been so lucky, I have worked with some absolute legends in the business and some great people and my fellow nominees,โ€ she added.

She also poked fun at her fellow nominee Hamish Blakeโ€™s Gold Logie campaign, joking that their shared agent had told her โ€œwell, Sonia, I think people are a little over Hamish.โ€

Sonia concluded her speech with a heartwarming commentary, telling the audience โ€œback stage, Chris [Brown] and I were walking around and there is a mural, and it says โ€˜hosting is not about what you do, itโ€™s about how you make other people feelโ€™ and I thought that is so true.โ€

The 57-year-old star was nominated alongside Shaun Micallef, Osher Gunsberg, Julia Morris, Mark Coles Smith, Leigh Sales and Hamish Blake.

For the first time, live voting remained open until 10:30pm. It was closed just a little while before the Gold Award was set to be announced. In the end, it was Sonia who emerged victorious. And itโ€™s no surprise really, with the star dubbed โ€œthe hardest working woman on Australian television.โ€

Her enviable work ethic โ€“ award-winning, you could say โ€“ comes down to her life at home during her teen years.

โ€œI had a part-time job when I was 13, worked in a fruit shop, then I worked at Coles,โ€ she recalls. โ€œMy parents drummed into me that rewards donโ€™t come unless you put the work in. You create your own luck.

โ€œAnd I do feel Iโ€™ve been very lucky. Iโ€™ve been privileged to be given the opportunity to host these shows which are global franchises Theyโ€™re big investments by the network.โ€

Congratulations to Sonia on her Gold Logie win!
