But just how far are they willing to go to win back the love of their lives? Will boundaries be pushed when the option of sharing a bed with a complete stranger is put on the table?

TV WEEK caught up with the couples ahead of the social experiment to find out the answers.

Seven Year Switch's Mark and Kaitlyn

Mark & Kaitlyn: Mark, 33, and Kaitlyn, 28, met three years ago through mutual friends. However, when Kaitlyn moved in with him, things changed between them. Now, Kaitlyn is on a mission to put the spark back in their relationship.

Sarge & Stacey: At 42, Sarge has no doubt his partner of two-and-a-half years, Stacey Louise, is his soulmate. But for fitness fanatic Stacey Louise, it’s a different story. Sarge is hoping the experiment will help get the couple back on track so he can eventually pop the question.

Michael & Felicity:

When Michael, 30, and Felicity met five years ago, their chemistry was electric. But just three months into their relationship, Felicity fell pregnant unexpectedly. “We had a lot of obligations and responsibilities before we could get to know each other,” says Michael. It was Felicity who decided to sign up the couple for the show. “I had gotten to a point where I thought I’d tried everything on my end and thought Michael needed a wake-up call,” the 26-year-old explains.

Tracey & Johnny: After meeting in London while backpacking, Johnny and Tracey were together for 11 years. They’ve been separated for 12 months, but are hoping to get things back on track for the sake of their two children, daughter Indiana, 10, and son Cruz, eight.
