Perhaps it’s all the champagne in the sun or the jovial atmosphere, but there’s just something about the Melbourne Spring Racing season that makes for the perfect backdrop for blossoming new romances and it looks like Richie Strahan and Tully Smyth may a hot new power couple.
It was first reported by The Daily Telegraph that the former Big Brother beauty Tully was locking lips with Richie at the Melbourne Cup and now they’ve been spotted cosying up at Oaks Day.
But this bond stems even earlier than the races.
On Monday night, the former reality stars took to social media to share some snaps of their fun night at the David Guetta concert in Melbourne.
“Highlight of the week: meeting @davidguetta with this lot,” the Big Brother beauty penned alongside this snap of the duo.

Richie captioned his pic from the concert with, “these legends,” while Tully admitted in her snap that she was “fangirling” over the French DJ.
The blonde babe again took to social media to share a photo of her and the handsome rope technician writing, “Fun few days with this dork @richie_strahan – showing him how Melbourne can party.”
Although the couple haven’t officially confirmed their romance there’s no doubt they’d make for a sweet couple.
Meanwhile since Tully’s infamous cheating scandal on the 2013 Big Brother series – where she hooked up with housemate Drew and thus ended her two year relationship on the outside world with girlfriend Tahlia Farrant – the social media maven has remained honest about her struggles after exiting the reality TV show.
“We’re human. We’re people. We have feelings and insecurities. We make mistakes – just like you,” she confessed on her blog Young Blood Social.
“You struggle to slip back into your old life. Your group of friends, despite watching your every move through their television screens and feeling like they’ve really gone on this adventure with you – really have no idea what they’re talking about.”
