All of your favourite Aussie actors are set to star in the new SBS crime thriller Dead Lucky.
The series, which follows the story of two feuding detectives as they hunt down a killer who is leaving a trail of broken lives across Sydney, begins filming today.
The fast paced crime thriller is set to be told by multiple perspectives. Rachel Girffiths plays Grace Gibbs, a detective obsessed with tracking down the armed robber who murdered her junior officer.
Things get complicated as her new trainee Charlie Fung (Yoson An), blames Grace for the death of his best friend.
Meanwhile, on the outskirts of Sydney a violent fugitive is hiding. Over the course of one week, two more people will die and one will go missing…

“I am thrilled to be starting Dead Lucky with world-class storytellers Ellie Beaumont and Drew Proffitt,” Rachel says. “To be able to work with our incredible crews and make content here in Sydney that can meet an international market is a dream and privilege. I am just glad I don’t have to be dead to be so lucky!”
Rachel is joined by Yoson An (HBO Asia series Grace), and the 2017 Heath Ledger Scholarship recipient Mojean Aria (The Bronx Bull).

The series will also star two former Home And Away stars Tessa de Josselin and Lincoln Younes.
