But since the series came to an end back in 2007, Peter Rowsthorn has kept in touch with just a handful of his former co-stars. Surprisingly, Magda Szubanski, aka Sharon Strzelecki, isn’t one of them.

“I sort of just watch Mags like everyone else in the media,” the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! contestant reveals.

“We don’t really talk. I’ve found showbiz is a fairly transient sort of game. Some people remain good friends, but it’s tricky.”

Peter says he hasn’t kept in touch with all his former co-stars.

He is, however, still in contact with Glenn Robbins, who played Kel Knight in the hit comedy.

“He’s one of my best friends,” Peter smiles.

As for a possible Kath & Kim reboot, Peter isn’t keen.

“It would be horrible,” the 55-year-old groans. “It would never be as good as the first one.”

Kath & Kim’s (from left) Brett, Kel, Kim, Kath and Sharon.

Despite this, he’s quick to predict just what the mother-and-daughter duo, played by Jane Turner (Kath) and Gina Riley (Kim), would be up to now.

“There’s been enough change in the world for Kim to have all this new stuff going on,” the comedian explains.

“We now have Uber drivers, so there would definitely be a lot of Ubering.

“But Kath and Kim would obviously be slightly behind the times and be like, ‘What’s going on?’ Can’t you imagine that?”
