Love, fear, and girl-power is all combined in the hot new series, Paper Dolls where five aspiring singers pursue stardom while exploring all the twist and turns of the entertainment industry.
The Network 10 series will feature an eight-part scripted drama created by Belinda Chapple, following five young women brought together on a music reality television show called ‘Pop Rush’ to create the band, Harlow.
In what seems to be glamorous, the women will see the dark side of the entertainment industry. With every mistake and success captured by ever present cameras, fans, and critics.
Producer Jessica Carrera said: “With an assembly of so many bright creative talents and brilliant music, we are thrilled to introduce audiences to the nostalgic Y2K world of Paper Dolls. The series charts the euphoria and complexity of striving for pop stardom, while asking the question: how far would you go to get to the top?”
