It’s been another emotional season!
Offspring season seven

We’re not ashamed to admit that we’ve cried in almost every episode of Offspring – ever.

Season seven has been an emotional rollercoaster with Billie (Kat Stewart) and Mick (Eddie Perfect) breaking up, Jimmy (Richard Davies) and Zara (Jane Harber) on the rocks and now, Nina (Asher Keddie) and Harry (Alexander England) expecting their first child.

Here are just some of our favourite moments. Warning: you might want to grab the tissues now.

Billie and Mick break up: Through all of the heart-break Nina has suffered, Billie has been by her side. When Billie’s marriage to Mick finally ends, it’s Nina’s turn to be there for her sister.

Father’s day:

This season saw the Proudman clan celebrate their first father’s day without Darcy Proudman (John Waters). The day came at a very emotional time for Geraldine (Linda Cropper), Zara, Nina and Billie. This scene, where all four Proudman women reflect on life, love and relationships, got us square in the feels and had our eyes sweating something awful.

Jimmy Proudman Offspring

Their relationship had been on the rocks for a long time, and when Jimmy and Zara finally called it quits – it was one of the most brutal break-up scenes we’ve seen on TV in a while.

Dance floor D&M: We’ve all said too much on a night out. After a few too many drinks, Nina couldn’t hold back the truth about how she was really feeling to Billie.

Osher, is that you? We love The Bachelor about as much as we love Offspring – so when our two favourite shows combined we were over the moon. “Asher Keddie is Australian acting royalty. I can’t act to save my life, but standing next to her, it was terrifying and fun,” Osher admits of his appearance on the show.

Meet the family: The Proudmans are all kinds of crazy – and as it turns out, so are Harry’s family. To be honest, it only made us like him more.

Love is a battlefield: Will learnt the hard way that relationships are never easy, especially when you are a Proudman. Will’s girlfriend Kerry had a fling with Jimmy – of course Will was the last to find out about it.

Offspring Nina Asher Keddie

The burdens of Nina’s job: This season, Nina had to help deliver a still born baby. “The stillborn baby storyline is probably the most challenging thing I have ever shot on the show,” Asher tells TV WEEK. “It was something that we didn’t want to shy away from, because it’s really important, and so many people experience it. We wanted to do it as delicately and as truthfully as possible. And I’m so pleased with the way it played out. It’s very, very, difficult stuff,” she explains.

Nina leaves St Francis: Nina makes the agonising decision to leave St Francis to further her career.

Will and Kerry are back on track: In the finale Kerry (Ash Ricardo) confesses to Will (TJ Power) that she can’t have children. She’s worried he will want to get their marriage annulled and refuse to renew their vows – but thankfully things all work out in the end!

Billie finds happiness: It’s been a tough season for Billie, but it looks like happiness is on the horizon for her and her new boyfriend Dan (Jeremy Lindsay Taylor).

Jimmy and Zara work things out: After their shocking break-up earlier this season, Jimmy and Zara are on the way to working things out – they mightn’t be 100% there yet – but they are certainly heading in the right direction.
